Annual WEEE communication
Producers (importers) registered in the National WEEE Register must communicate the data relating to the total quantity , expressed in weight and in pieces of electrical and electronic equipment (art. 29 of Legislative Decree 49/2014).
If the declarant has NOT placed any quantity on the market in the reference year (or years), he/she must explicitly indicate the value 0 (zero) . The electronic system will not allow the completion of the form if the quantity field is not filled in for all equipment.
The manufacturer cannot communicate the quantity placed on the market of types of electrical and electronic equipment for which it is not registered . To do so, it must first complete a variation procedure.
This data must be communicated electronically to the National Register of Battery and Accumulator Producers by April 30th of each year, unless otherwise specified by the Ministry.
Annual PA communication
Producers (importers), registered in the National PA Register , must communicate the data relating to the total quantity , expressed in weight and in pieces, of batteries and accumulators placed on the national market (art. 15 of Legislative Decree 188/2008).
If the declarant has NOT placed any quantity on the market in the reference year (or years), he/she must explicitly indicate the value 0 (zero) . The electronic system will not allow the completion of the form if the quantity field is not filled in for all equipment.
Manufacturers cannot disclose the quantities placed on the market for battery types and accumulators for which they are not registered. To do so, they must first submit a variation application.
This data must be communicated electronically to the National Register of Battery and Accumulator Producers by 31 March of each year .
