What's New

How are the rules for batteries changing?

Legislative Decree No. 29/2026 brings Italy into compliance with EU Regulation 2023/1542. It no longer focuses solely on end-of-life issues; rather, it addresses the entire battery lifecycle, from design to the recovery of raw materials.

Things to Remember

No minimum threshold.

These requirements apply even if you import just one battery.
