If you are an importer or manufacturer of electrical and electronic equipment, you need to complete the EEE registry: rely on the SINAB (National System of Batteries Batteries and Other) consortium!
EEE registry entry: what is it for?
If you are a manufacturer or importer of Electronic Electronic Equipment (abbreviated as EEE) your company MUST complete the ' registration to the EEE Registry (Dlgs 49/2014). Entities that place electronic equipment on the market are in fact obliged to finance and manage the collection, storage, andsending for treatment and recovery of the waste generated by the equipment they place on the market.
What is considered electronic electrical equipment?

There is a specific definition of electronic electrical equipment by decree, but it is not very comprehensive for non-"insiders" therefore, we give here some examples of EEE:
- large and small household appliances
- electrical or computer products
- PCs, computers, printers, computer and telecommunications equipment
- consumer equipment and air conditioners
- lighting equipment
- electrical and electronic instruments
- toys and equipment for leisure and sports
- medical devices
- monitoring and control tools
- vending machines
- photovoltaic panels
- AND MUCH MORE
If you are not sure if you are affected by the scope of the standard, please contact us and receive a free consultation on whether or not you are subject to registration.
In fact, we remind you that importing electrical and electronic equipment without registering it is an illegal activity for which there are penalties ranging from 30,000 to 100,000 euros!
