WEEE Collection 2026: First-Quarter National Data Released

Table of Contents

The WEEE Coordination Center has released official data on WEEE collection for the first quarter of 2026.

A useful update for anyone in a company involved in the management of electronic waste: manufacturers, importers, environmental managers, and regulatory consultants.

The collection rate for the first quarter of 2026 shows an encouraging increase of 6.5% compared to the collection rate for the first quarter of the previous year.

What do these figures represent:

• an overview of national revenue trends for January–March 2026 • a reference point for planning revenue flows for the following quarter • a benchmark for assessing one’s contribution to the system

The Italian WEEE system is based on collaboration between manufacturers, retailers, municipalities, and collective schemes such as SINAB. Every collection figure is the result of a supply chain that works—when it works.

For companies that manufacture or import electrical and electronic equipment, understanding industry trends helps them assess the efficiency of their operations and anticipate operational changes.
