Any person who places batteries or accumulators, including those incorporated into appliances or vehicles, on the national market for the first time on a professional basis is considered a producer, regardless of the sales technique used, including distance communication techniques.
Therefore, any entity falling under the definition of producer is required to comply with the obligations imposed by Legislative Decree 188/2008.
